1924

MG produced its first vehicle, the MG 14/28, with the octagonal logo that will lead the future.

1930’s

Having gained the upper hand in all the races held in this period, MG won the races in Italy, Germany and Monaco, as well as the winner of the "Irish Grand Prix", "Isle of Man's Tourer's Trophy", and "The Ulster TT".

He broke new ground by finishing first in the famous Mille Miglia race, which has been won by Italian brands throughout its history. The K3 Magnette model became the winner of its class and consolidated MG's place in the world of motorsport..

1932

MG EX120 "The Magic Midget" (750 cc) reached 140km/h and hit the land speed record.

1935

The EX 135 reached a speed of 331km/h, adding another record to history.

1957

Legendary British racing driver Sir Striling Moss hit the land speed record with the MG EX181. After this record was broken at the Salt Flats (USA), the MG EX181 was nicknamed the "Roaring Raindrop". It broke the previous record and reached 20% more speed. (395 km/h)

1962

The MGB roadster, the best-selling MG model of all time, was launched in 1962. Dubbed the first modern MG, it was the first car to use the unibody construction. The model was greatly appreciated in the US market and remained in production until 1980.

1975

One of the first sporty hatchbacks, the MG Metro 1300, is launched. Contrary to concerns that this style might be a little different from the traditional sports car market, it was a huge success. It has proven the interest and love for the MG brand. The success of this model opened the doors to the production of the MG Metro Turbo.

1985

Always following the action, MG did not miss the excitement of the rally. It decided to participate in the races in Group B category. Thus was born the 410-horsepower Metro 6R4, powered by a V6 3.0 engine, and has earned a rightful place in this legendary category.

1995

There was great excitement when the MGF model, which stands out with its innovative engine and gas suspension, was put on sale. The vehicle met the expectations and became one of MG's best-selling models shortly after its introduction.

2014

MG celebrated its 90th anniversary at Silverstone with an extraordinary ceremony. He tasted the victory after two third places (2012 -2013) in the BTCC (British Touring Car Championship), which he returned in 2012.

2016

Today, the MG brand is offered for sale in more than 30 countries, especially in England, France, Austria, Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium and Australia.
