Aprilia

Aprilia was founded by Alberto Beggio as a bicycle manufacturing factory in Noale, Italy, after the Second World War, and then began production of motorcycle in 1968 when his son Ivano took over the company.

In 1970, the company would decide its fate with its first motorcycle, the 50cc Scarabeo motocross motorcycle. This model, in formats ranging from 50cc to 125cc, laid the groundwork for the next race bikes that Aprilia will produce. Even in 1970, Beggio dreamed of bringing the company's motorcycles to the competitive racetrack.

This dream came true when Aprilia produced the RC 125 in 1974. In 1975, the company's competitive nature emerged with the release of the first motocross racing motorcycles. Just two years later, in 1977, success came with Italian Motocross Championship titles for both the 125 and 250 class.

Today Aprilia, has won 294 Grand Prix races, making it the first motorcycle brand to break the record for the most wins among all manufacturers in Europe, and is the leader of the motorcycle racing industry, producing world-class motorcycles competing on different tracks around the world.

Since 2016, Aprilia has been serving its customers with the assurance of Doğan Trend Automotive, a subsidiary of Doğan Holding in Turkey, and a wide network of authorized dealers and services. You can find detailed information about Aprilia at www.aprilia.com.tr.
